Hello, I’m Chrissy Gallarello. I’m certified in both Holistic Nutrition and Health & Wellness. My journey to creating Purely Boxed began with a life-altering moment in 2020, when I heard the words, “You have cancer.”

Although I was diagnosed at Stage 1, the fear and uncertainty were overwhelming. The hardest decisions loomed as I navigated the medical landscape, choosing a treatment path that would shape my future. Enduring three surgeries and weeks of daily radiation during the global pandemic was an ordeal I never anticipated.

At the same time, I was managing my pre-school, often leaving work to undergo radiation treatments—an experience that took a significant toll on both my body and spirit.

During this challenging time, I became increasingly aware of what I was putting into my body and onto my skin. I began scrutinizing product labels, discovering harmful chemicals hidden in everyday items. Driven by a need to protect my health, I eliminated the microwave from our home and revamped my daycare’s food program to feature wholesome, dye-free meals, ensuring the children in my care received proper nutrition.

As I healed, my passion for wellness deepened. I pursued certifications in holistic nutrition and health, igniting a mission to share the luxury of pure, clean living with others. Purely Boxed was born from that desire—a quarterly subscription box delivering carefully curated, chemical-free products that embody the standards I hold dear.
